Are you attracting prospects or driving them away?

10 questions to test the magnetic strength of your approach:

  1. Is there real purpose driving your prospect outreach or are you just
    “dialing and smiling” to one after the next?
  2. Is that purpose grounded to your prospect in some way (a problem
    or opportunity, relevant knowledge or insights, etc.)?
  3. Is your purpose supported by something substantive that they’ll
    find meaningful (relevant experience, accomplishments, etc.)?
  4. Is your purpose communicated in a clear and concise way?
  5. When you look at your marketing materials, does style get in the
    way of your message?
  6. Is your thought leadership content rooted in your prospect
    market’s business issues?
  7. Does your thought leadership content contain a clear point(s) of
    view that’s supported by convincing evidence?
  8. Is your thought leadership content “packaged” as educational as
    opposed to promotional material?
  9. Is your content well written (thoughts well organized, etc)?
  10. Is your content formatted in a way that makes it easy to consume
    (short text blocks, good use of bullets and white space, etc.)?
